Expanding motor business Motor Depot has launched its seventh national showroom on the Vroom Car Retail Park in North Tyneside which is owned by Northumberland Estates.

This move makes the company the largest trader within Vroom, displaying approximately 150 cars and with a service centre. Work is also under way on developing a new, purpose-built, 10,000 sq ft service and car preparation centre which will open alongside extra retail space to enable the company to display more than 400 cars by the end of the year.

Vroom, which is based on the Tyne Tunnel Industrial Estate and opposite the Silverlink Retail Park has been subject to a multi-million pound regeneration since being purchased by Northumberland Estates. This includes a recent spend of over £100,000 in advertising including print and broadcast, to market the retail park to consumers across the region.

The site is currently one of the most prominent in the region, displaying over 800 cars across several dealerships. Motor Depot joins Cartec, WD Motors, Whitley Bay Motors and Motorcare at the site.

Two further units remain available and these include a 4,200 square foot showroom, a 5,400 square foot PDI and servicing unit, 108 external car sales spaces and 14 car parking spaces.
