Reporting to the Head of the IT Department, you will work as part of the IT team providing support to systems and users across the business, as well as implementing and embedding new technologies. The role will be based primarily in the Alnwick office although there will be some travel to the Newcastle office.
Skills and behaviour
Whilst this is primarily a technical role, you will have excellent people skills and will be able to play a significant role in the transformation of Northumberland Estates' technology. Some training will be given though the following skills and experience, whilst not essential, are preferable:
- Windows Server 2008 and above
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft SQL
- Office 365 Admin Centre
- VMware 6 and above
- Desired experience:
- Ubiquity Networks
- Mitel Telephony
Qualifications: not essential but preferable:
- VCP or VCAP in VMware
